I wanted to like this place so much. This is my second time trying the food, and it was just super disappointing. The bourbon glazed salmon had no glaze whatsoever and was overcooked and dry as a bone, bordering on inedible, and everything else was pretty flavorless. To be honest, I couldn't justify driving that far for this quality of food again. *Edited to add: The salmon WAS inedible and the corn potatoes, sausage, and shrimp had no seasoning or flavor (zoom in on the pics), so I ended up throwing out the entire plate. Waste of $27 dollars*

It was amazing!! The staff were so friendly and welcoming, they treated us like family. The food was very well seasoned and I will definitely be coming back to try the rest of their menu. You won’t be disappointed!! 🫶🫶

Oh Heavenly goodness. My husband and I went here for the first time, I was eating the shrimp mac& cheese, my husband was talking to me and I didn't hear a word he said. I was enjoying the food so much! It was superb! The service was excellent, I felt like a family member. We will return as regulars. My new go to spot! The crab cake & house sauce amazing, ordered some to take home! Congratulations to Destiny for graduating college!

The food is AMAZING and the owner is such a gracious man and loves people and makes sure you feel like family. I felt like I was invited into his home for dinner. We will be back!!!

Amazing food!! Crab legs were out of this world!!!! My boyfriend had the crabcake platter with seasoned eggs and fried okra. He loved everything, wasn’t a crumb left on its plate! The fried okra was amazing! I just wish it had a nicer dine-in area, with servers who take your order & bring your food etc. The place is very small on the inside. We thought it was a sit down restaurant & went there on Valentine’s Day. I even called & made a reservation, which they took, so when I got there, I was a little confused when I walked through the door and saw four tables and people eating out of styrofoam. We stayed & are happy we did. The food makes up for the rest that was a disappointment. Definitely will eat here again. It’s always better, especially seafood, to eat hot and fresh. So I will probably sit at one of the four tables every time I get food from here. Maybe one day they will turn it into a full fledge sit down restaurant.

Seafood Destiny (Gate City Blvd) It's a no for me...sorry..... Fish and shrimp looks to be cooked in old grease and has WAY to much salt in it. If it didn't cost me $40 I would go find something else to eat.. Disappointed 😞

The person who served me was very nice and the food was out in a good time. I got the crableg boil, and it was good. The sausage was delicious, and so was the shrimp. The crab, on the other hand, needs more seasoning. It was a bit too bland. The corn as well. It was served in a foam lunch box line with foil, and as much as I tried, I could not keep it from spilling into the bag. So almost all of my sauce was spilled. Overall it was ok, I would go back.

Very friendly staff, cozy environment. The vibes are definitely good there. It was a short wait for our food and the food definitely impressed. I had the "shrop platter" and everything was on point! I would definitely go again a lot sooner if I lived in the area but if you are in the area you must try! Oh yeah by the way, that shrimp mac and cheese, man oh man! Don't leave without having some of that!
